This 9-wire turn signal switch is the original type for classic VW buses and rarer air-cooled models where more electrical functions ran through a single switch. The OEM number 211 953 513E is known for its reliability - although many units have lost sensitivity after decades. Use it if you want your turn signals to work without an extra relay - or if you are restoring a completely authentic steering column. Combine this with a new turn signal relay and fresh wiring harnesses for reliable electrics.
