This turn signal switch is the classic three-pin version found in many air-cooled VWs, originally German-made under part number 211 953 515. It is mounted on the steering wheel and controls your turn signals, simple and reliable without all that modern electronics. Universally applicable to T1 and later models, and if you replace it, you can combine it with a new wiring repair kit so that everything connects neatly.
