This turn signal switch is the classic three-pin version found in many air-cooled VWs - originally German-made under part number 211 953 515. It is mounted on the steering wheel and controls your turn signals - simple and reliable without all that modern electronics. Universally applicable to T1 and later models - and if you replace it - you can combine it with a new wiring repair kit so that everything connects neatly.
