The ignition switch is where it all begins: without it - you can't start your engine. This replacement part (311 905 865A) fits T2a - Type 3 - and Karmann Ghia and ensures reliable electrical contacts. If you have a sloppy contact or the car sometimes doesn't start - this is likely the solution. Combine this with a new ignition lock cylinder and you'll have a solid starting system again.
