This ignition lock is the replacement part that reliably starts and locks your Type 3. It includes both the ignition mechanism and the steering column clamp - so you have everything needed for a properly working ignition switch. OEM 311 905 851A is a direct replacement for worn or damaged units. Combine this with a new ignition key if yours is worn.
