This light switch (251 941 531M) is located in your dashboard column and controls your headlights and parking lights. For Beetle and T3 models that are still originally equipped or where you want to restore this function. The contact mechanism naturally wears out after decades - so if your switches become difficult or no longer make good contact - replacement is the only solution. Combine this part with a complete light switch housing for a neat finish.
