This red taillight lens (OEM 311 945 223R) is the US variant for your Type 3 or Karmann Ghia, with the characteristic USA dimensions and fit. The lens fits into the chrome taillight frame and gives your rear that classic red glowing appearance. Combine this with a new rubber seal and gasket set to ensure a waterproof installation.
