This gas strut holds your front trunk lid open without you having to constantly hold it. Perfect for working in the engine bay, and much more convenient than searching for a stick or prop rod. The gas strut is suitable for the Beetle and T1 and ensures both your hands are free. Combine this with a new door handle or trunk handle for your entire front.
