This is the metal catch that holds your quarter window in place when closed. After some years - the mechanism can start to wear - causing the window to no longer sit firmly in the latch. This part (OEM 211 837 635A) fits both left and right - so you can order it per piece. Combine this with a new quarter window seal if you are already working on the window.
