The T-handle shifter is a direct replacement for those who have lost their original lever or prefer a simpler design without a ball. This type fits T1, Type 3, Karmann Ghia, and Type 181 and works with the standard shift opening. Combine this with a new shifter housing or low-profile shift boot if you are planning a complete upgrade.
