VW T1, T2, Beetle | Plate B 1975
This plate B from 1975 is located between the engine block and the bulkhead and prevents heat from the engine from flowing directly into the cabin. It is an essential component for both the T1 and T2b and Type 181, as damaged or missing insulation causes unpleasant heat in your vehicle. Because this part is constantly exposed to heat and vibrations, it gradually wears out and replacement is recommended during a major service. Combine this with other insulation plates for complete heat shielding of your engine compartment.
