The electric fuel sender sends the correct signal to your fuel gauge, so you always know how much fuel is left in the tank. This replacement part (113 919 049D) fits T1, Karmann Ghia and Type 181 and works reliably with your original gauge. Check that your sender moves smoothly and makes good contact before installation. Combine this with a new sealing ring for a tight seal in the tank.
