This fuel sender is located in your dashboard to indicate your fuel level - and a T3 cannot function without it. The original Volkswagen part 251 919 051K sends the correct signal to your fuel gauge - so you know when to refuel. Because this sender is inside the tank and constantly in contact with the fuel - it naturally wears out and can start to malfunction. Combine this with a new fuel cap and O-ring for the complete package.
