The electric fuel sender (311 919 051) is located in your fuel tank and constantly informs your odometer how much petrol is left. On Type 3 models, this part is reliable, but after decades of wear, it can become more sensitive or fail completely. This float converts the tank level into an electrical signal to your dashboard. Combine this with a new tank kit or carburetor rebuild kit for a fully functional fuel circuit.
