This mounting plate holds your fuel tank securely in place under the car. It concerns part 111 201 635A, originally for the T1, Karmann Ghia and Type 181. Without this plate, your tank literally rolls back and forth, which eventually leads to cracks. Combine this with our tank mounting bolts and you're good to go.
