This OEM fuel tap 211 209 021A is fitted on many T1 models and operates on a mechanical principle: as soon as the engine runs, the suction in the carburetor creates enough vacuum to pull the tap open. The 8 mm connection fits standard fuel hose. Make sure to replace the rubber hose at the same time, as it becomes brittle after decades and can leak at the seam.
