This cork seal ensures a watertight seal in your fuel cap - preventing dirt or moisture from entering your tank. The 70mm version with an external lock fits the T2 - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia - and Type 181. After years of use - these seals harden and start to leak - so replacement is sensible preventative maintenance. Feel free to combine this with a new fuel cap itself for a completely tidy finish.
