This cork fuel cap gasket (OEM 111 201 557B) prevents your fuel from evaporating and contamination from entering your tank. After decades, cork becomes brittle and permeable, so a new one is essentially routine maintenance for T1 engines. This 100mm version fits the original cap and provides a tight seal as it should. Combine this with a new fuel cap if yours is also worn.
