The catch plate securely holds your engine lid in place - preventing it from accidentally closing while you're working on the engine. This part is located on the inside of the engine lid and engages with the latch - perfect for T2a - T2b - and T3. OEM part number 211 813 259C. Combine this with a new engine lid latch for a completely secure installation.
