This engine lid stay prevents your engine lid from closing unexpectedly and saves your fingers from being crushed. You attach the part to the inside of the engine lid to keep it open when you're working on it. For the T1 - this is the fitting replacement part 111 827 513B - so you can be sure it will fit perfectly. Combine this with a new engine lid spring if yours is worn out.
