This side guide ensures that your tailgate moves up smoothly and straight without tilting or getting stuck against the bodywork. The part is located on both sides of the opening and is often replaced when the tailgate no longer closes properly or if grit has gotten into the guide. This is the original VW profile (361 827 185A) that perfectly fits your T2a - Type 3 - or Type 4. Combine this with a new sealing strip around the tailgate for a neat finish.
