The spring ensures a gentle return to the resting position and works together with the accelerator cable and carburetor for reliable throttle response. OEM number 211 259 283 fits T1 - T2 - Beetle - Karmann Ghia - and Type 181. Combine this retaining spring with a new accelerator cable and accelerator cable set for the complete package.
