This push rod connects your brake pedal directly to the brake cylinder - ensuring that your braking force is transferred when you depress the pedal. The OEM number 113 721 205 J/K fits T1 - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia and Type 181 - so please check which variant you need. A worn or bent rod is quickly noticeable by a spongy brake pedal that no longer springs back. Combine this with a new brake cylinder and fresh brake fluid for a completely revitalized brake line.
