This accelerator pedal (111 721 507E/F) is the original foot control for your T1, Type 3, Karmann Ghia, or Type 181. The mechanism directly controls your carburetor via a cable, so if it shows wear or operates stiffly, you'll immediately notice it under the accelerator pedal. We offer both complete pedal sets and individual pedals, so also consider the complete package if you're undertaking a restoration. A well-functioning accelerator pedal isn't fancy, but it's essential for precise throttle control on the road.
