123 Ignition Electronic Ignition Typ1 VW-R - Without Vacuum
This 123Ignition unit replaces the entire distributor of your VW Beetle with a modern, electronic system - without changing the look on the outside. Wear-prone parts such as contact points and springs are no longer needed: a central shaft with rotor and built-in electronics now controls the ignition timing. This version works without a vacuum connection, making it particularly suitable for engines with twin carburettors such as Weber or Dellorto, where ignition advance is controlled entirely by engine speed.

- ✓Choose from 16 pre-programmed ignition curves via the switch under the base plate
- ✓Synchro technology (F1-derived) detects small compression differences between cylinders and fine-tunes the spark per cylinder, for smoother running and less wear
- ✓Built-in cold-start program helps the engine start reliably when cold
- ✓Automatically cuts coil power after 1 second when the ignition is on but the engine isn't running, protecting the coil
- ✓Automatically detects whether your vehicle runs on 6 or 12 Volts
- ✓Maintenance-free once installed - no adjustments, no upkeep
